One of my customers was won. We often had some good conversations as I dropped off product at his store. He gave me two books. Christendom Astray and Jesus Christ is not GOD.

After a couple of hours of answering other questions, it is now willing to contradict itself. The more I use it the more I hate the unreliability of AI. My sense of reasonableness is not always enough.

That is the perennial difficulty. I've had numerous debates with various AI models. I find that I still desire to triangulate facts and theories, rather than relying on a single perspective. While AI has its uses, I must constantly remind myself of its limitations. Of course, that is unless it just agrees with me – then I think it's brilliant!

Notwithstanding Dr. John Thomas’s brief foray into the Restoration Movement, I would not be allowed to be a member of the Christadelphians due to their “doctrine to be rejected” number 35: “We reject the doctrine - that we are at liberty to serve in the Army, Navy, Police Force, or any service whatsoever requiring the Oath of Allegiance or use of force.”

Their beliefs are certainly interesting to study.

I agree that my statement does veer from your subject, and I apologize for that. I do try to stay away from theological issues in these forums. My only defense, weak as it is, is that I did not speak to the validity of their theology, but to the reality of the fact that they would not accept me as a member. Perhaps it hit too close to home for me. At any rate, please forgive me. Back in college days, I did write a paper that discussed Christadelphians. I do not recall any information on their accepted canon, but I will look through my notes to see if there is anything that may be helpful to you. I would search through the books that I used for that paper, but they were lost in a house fire some years ago. What a blessing Logos has been since then!

I agree but when the forums are as touchy as they are now (I get called out for giving a definition and forumite calls out all Americans ...) But I am very pleased that so far the roll-out has not brought more chaos. This may be a very good year.

I wouldn't say I'm knowledgeable about Christadelphians at all, but I do have access to digital archives of the Christadelphian magazine and some of John Thomas's books. As far as I know, they use the 66-book canon.

Here's a source that could be cited:

And yet, I understand the concern that MJ has. As touchy as things have been in the forums lately, it is possible, whether we mean to or not, to add more heat than light. I shall make a greater effort to show light, as opposed to heat.
