BIBLE STUDY BUILDER QUESTIONS (37.0 production release)

Thanks for this new tool.  It is simpler and more practically useful than Sermon Builder ... fewer steps and fewer tags and fields to fill in.

One suggestion - when making training videos, GO SLOWER.  Same steps, same verbiage, but not so fast.  Yes I know one can pause and rewind but that is a pain.  If you can, do it at least 25% slower.  And each time you tap a key like tab or enter, or click on something, clarify that verbally or using the click-ID-tool that is available in Camtasia etc.  The writeup is greal.

Question 1: Is there a way to simply "divide" the list ... presuming it is much longer ... and use the resulting sections to automatically export to Powerpoint slide format?  If not, that would be very helpful.

Question 2: It appeared that when you inserted the background info from the prior chapter, an AI SUMMARY appeared.  But the options shown and the writeup didn't explain how that can be repeated.  If you simply pasted it in, that should have been made clear.  In any case, THAT (background summary) would be a great place to make an AI Summary available!

Question 3: Where is this stored? How can I find it later and re-use it or make a copy and then edit the copy with a new name, etc?

Question 4:  Can COLOR or symbols be used?  If so, where on the menu etc are they accessed and specified, and what options do we have?  Again, if this is not currently possible, it would be very helpful.

Question 5: Since it seems one big feature of this is that it can auto-generate discussion questions, can we somehow "prime" the focus of the question with a word or phrase, along with a scripture reference?  If so, how?  If not, that would be really nice.

Question 6: I watched both desktop and mobile vid's and it seemed like the features on both devices are identical.  If not, please explain what canNOT be done on one device that CAN be done on the other device, regarding this tool.

Thanks!

You can read book text at 75% but training videos only offer 50%, which is painfully slow even with a fast talker.

    That would be a Suggestion

I presume this relates to a training video, but which one?

What you see is what you get, so this would be a Suggestion (but provide more detail).

The Bible Study reference is the current focus, so that would be a Suggestion

The Android version is the same as desktop.

    Hi Dave.

I’m not sure why you responded.
    No helpful answers.

    Hi Dave.

    No helpful answers.

And no helpful responses to my questions for clarity!

Bible Builder is now out of beta, so anything missing or needed is going to need a formal Suggestion (as with the new resource toolbar).

    I see only one question.
In light of your first response, which seemed to make light of the value of Logos training videos, I thought that your second question was simply cynical.

all your other responses were not questions or answers.
what I did was ask questions. I don’t think that was what the suggestions area was for.
I honestly didn’t know if the things I was asking were possible.

    I posted here requesting help.

and, to answer your question, I watched the training videos provided by Logos in their recent announcement about Bible Builder. And I read the transcripts that came with them.

is it inappropriate for me to post how-to questions here?

This is the only question I know the answer to. The document behaves like any other document in the document menu and on the documents site https://documents.logos.com/ This site is where you can duplicate the document. There appears to be a duplicate function on the Panel menu but I've not experimented with that to see how it works.

The comment about the 50% option on training videos was intended to show that your suggestion of  talking 25% slower could be achieved via a 75% option on the video playback.

Whether possible or not, you made suggestions that you thought would be helpful or nice and my response/answer was to make a formal Suggestion.

I did not take your questions lightly.  I misunderstood Q3, and did some research to provide a positive answer for Q6 on Android.
