Why am I being forced to update?
Logos on macOS will not run and wants to force me to update to the latest version.
At this point in time I DO NOT want to upgrade, given all of the uncertainty about subscription and forcing the use of new interface elements with no option to revert to what was working well in the past.

What resources have you downloaded recently? Some of them appear to be incompatible with your software. What version is your software? I should probably ask if you done any recent beta testing in which case it could be documents that are incompatible.

that computer is rarely used so nothing has been downloaded on it recently. I have made purchases and I have created some collections documents on another computer that may have a later version of the software. That is the only thing I can think of. All the resources on the computer were downloaded by the version of software that is refusing to run.
I really don’t have a clue but if I had to guess I would say that maybe it is my collections that I created? Either that or they are selling resources in the store that are not compatible with the version that was just installed in September?
I think the software might’ve been 34. It was installed in September. And I have never done any beta testing.
If I learn how to look at the log files, is it going to tell me which resources are the problem?

This message appears when you run Logos 36.1, then remove it, then try to run an earlier version.
You can fix it by:
- Installing v36.1 or later
- Uninstalling everything, including all documents and data, installing an out-of-date version, then redownloading everything

I assume you're referring to the new Resource Toolbar? If you're not a Logos subscriber, you won't even have access to it so I'd recommend just installing v37 and getting the latest (free to everyone) bug fixes and performance improvements.

As a non-subscriber, Version 37 does run great and yes without the Dynamic Toolbar
