CAN I SEARCH for a specified lemma, morphology=nominative AND grammatical role=subject?

I thought this could be done with a clause search but I appear to have been overly optimistic.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I don't know. I never use this kind of thing, but I always regarded verse lists potentially as inner sections of a SQL statement. But once you get the individual verse lists, isn't there a way to "join" the separate results? I think you might know what I'm talking about here. But again, I may just displaying wishful thinking. For that matter, you could always take the results outside of Logos to find their intersection.

Not with a clause search, but with a syntax search. Open a new Syntax Search document, use the "Subject" template so you don't have to worry about the particulars, then fill in the lemma and morph on the word object.

Thank you both. That will get me started but it also confirms how difficult Logos makes it to utilize semantic roles. But I am off in a productive direction.
