The Teacher’s Outline and Study Bible

This is possibly a question for DAL.

I seem to recall you're a fan of The Preacher’s Outline and Sermon Bible. How does The Teacher’s Outline and Study Bible compare?

Is it an abridgement and if so does in retain the good features of the larger volumes or is it too light on detail?

I Heard/Read my name 😂😂😂 Yes, the TOSB is an abridged version of the POSB. The only difference, I think, is that the abridged version includes Study Questions at the end of each lesson; but other than that they are virtually identical. And another thing, TOSB has been incomplete for a good while (Only 18 volumes NT only).

I wonder why Logos don't offer the NIV version of the Preacher's Outline and Sermon Bible. The NT set is a great price this month, but I'm not sure I want to invest that money with the current version offered by Logos.

When I want a different version of the Bible I just keep it opened along with the interlinear to check on the different renderings. Over all, I find the resource helpful, but would like to see the outlines as a separate resource like Wordsearch, Accordance and Olive Tree have it.

I just got the TOSB as part of an upgrade and it's a condensed version, but it also contains illustrations that are not always on the larger work. It also contains the questions for discussion. You can always create your own questions. I'm actually going to start teaching a series on 1 Peter and will use the TOSB instead of the POSB as it's shorter and easier to digest.

Anyone using what appears to be an updated version of The Preacher’s Outline and Sermon Bible? (Perhaps @DAL) I can see it uses the ESV translation. Are the notes updated too?
