Is the ability to get "logosres:hndflsprpssl;ref=" style links in ANY book section gone in Logos 10
I was hoping for the ability to link to any point in any book resource that I have in Logos. I found a thread here (https://community.logos.com/forums/p/214561/1250400.aspx#1250400) that showed the following link, logosres:hndflsprpssl;ref=VolumePage.V_2,_p_106 which worked exactly as I hoped. Problem is, I don't know how to obtain that kind of link. It looks like that functionality has changed in the latest version of Logos or I'm completely missing it. Any ideas?

This is available from Share > Copy Link in the resource toolbar:
This will copy a link that looks like https://ref.ly/logosres/hndflsprpssl?ref=VolumePage.V+2%2c+p+106. (This is "the same as" the logosres: link you mentioned, but has better compatibility with other applications. The refly links are replacing the "legacy" logos4 and logosres links.)

Don't the L4 links allow you to link within your Logos application without needing an internet connection? Hopefully that's not going away. I use that format for adding links to my notes.

Refly links inside Logos (e.g., in Notes) do not require an Internet connection to function. Refly links in other applications on macOS, iOS, and Android will open the application directly, without requiring an Internet connection; we hope to bring that functionality to Windows soon.

I'm facing a bit of an issue and could use some help. While working on personal books like 5 Divine Institutions and another one as a student study guide, I used the L4 functionality to link a question in one book directly to a specific paragraph in the first book. Previously, L4 would take me precisely to the linked location. However, with the newer version, using "Share" > "Copy Link" only opens the book to the beginning, which is far less useful.

It depends (in both cases) on whether you had text selected or not. If so, the link will contain a ctx portion, this will allow to link precisely to a paragraph:
logosres:whtbblabtrvkjv;ref=Bible.Jos10;off=430;ctx=depended_upon_God.$E2$80$9D$0A~The_fame_of_Israel_b
(I made the first link with Verbum 36.1 panel menu Copy Location As / L4 and the second one with the L38 Beta 2 new resource bar Share / Copy Link, you see they contain virtually identical information and one could engineer one from the other)
Have joy in the Lord!

I have reason to believe that what is at the top of the panel rather than selected text is used (much to my annoyance). I'll see if I can find the post that led me that direction but Google is having trouble with site:community.logos.com

I did try that one with a personal book, and it didn’t display "A Logos4 Link." According to Indy from Customer Support, this feature (L4) is no longer supported.
I will look into above and try to see if I can get that to work.0 -

Existing L4 links will be respected even if we can't create them.Dave
