I am using a new iPad Pro.
For some reason when I copy and paste verses, it no longer includes the verse number.

I don’t know if something is wrong or if I changed a setting.

Please advise.

Hi Rick - and welcome to the forums

I am using a new iPad Pro.
For some reason when I copy and paste verses, it no longer includes the verse number.

Which version of the app are you using?

There was a recent change in how this works

I have the Pro subscription and am using version 37.0.2 (4).

I just tried this and it worked fine.

What Bible are you copying from and what you are pasting into?

I was pasting from the ESV bible into Notability.
I checked that Notability, and it would paste verse numbers from other apps.

Now when I checked, pasting from Logos ESV bible to Notability again it worked fine. I’m confused.

Yesterday I couldn’t get any verse numbers to paste, so I’m assuming it’s user error on my part but I’m not sure what I could have done to have caused it.

I love Notability...great app. But in my experience, it can be quirky at times.  It could be an issue on that side rather than a setting in Logos.

I continue to use Notability despite a few quirks as it is the best app I've seen for marking up text in a class-setting.

I am experiencing the same issue.

    iPhone SE

    Logos ver 37.0.3

before when I copied text from ESV and pasted it into google doc it would have the it would look like this.

Genesis 18:22–25 (ESV): 22 So the men turned from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the Lord. 23 Then Abraham drew near and said, “Will you indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked? 24 Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city. Will you then sweep away the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous who are in it? 25 Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”

    now it results in this

    Genesis 18:22–25 (ESV):

    Abraham Intercedes for Sodom

So the men turned from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the Lord. Then Abraham drew near and said, “Will you indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked? Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city. Will you then sweep away the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous who are in it? Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”

I typical remove the passage title here “Abraham Intercedes for Sodom” and am not concerned about that.

The verse numbers are what I need.

I am also experiencing the same issue on my iPad Pro on Logos 37.0.3 (1).  In the previous versions turning off citations worked, but now nothing works To get the verse numbers back.
