I'm looking for the syntax for indicating the language in a personal book ... as opposed to using the Word set language feature. And I'm feeling lazy about experimenting. Anyone had an example?
You could use the PB Tool to set Language as metadata.
Hello Dave,
I have the same question.
{{field-on:hebrew}}דלכדךכחד{{field-off:hebrew}} seems it don't work. Unfortunately I have no clue if I check the wiki. For me this is not clear enough.
Thanks.
type language dialogue box into your MSWord Help - using Word's language feature seems to work well.
Not good. If I set Hebrew, it work with Hebrew and Roman characters (English, German, etc.). But then the Greek words are not searchable.
Use the MSWord language function ...
Hello MJ,
Thanks, but Word recognize the language automatically. At least by me.
Ah I see the image hasn't gone through.
But then there is no language field in the info section of the PB.
Or do you mean a totally different function?
Thanks for your answer.
but Word recognize the language automatically.
Automatic recognition is an option for me, not even the default. Perhaps, the US and German interface differs. But i get warnings on the Hebrew from the compiler that the text direction might not be respected if I don't use the Word language tags.
I think I get it now. It seems I was stuck at a time it hasn't worked.
Fabian
Thanks, I guess I get it now.
Anyway, can someone provide me with the correct language tags that works?
Thanks
