As one who does not plan to subscribe to Logos, I am already finding the Forums becoming less and less relevant to me.  I suspect that will be even more true in the new forums.  Perhaps, I will be wrong about that.

I'm just guessing (obviously), but I doubt FL can keep it up, with multiple UI features (vs what traditionally were called 'features').

They can't even do their Help-book for both. And, subscribers, unsubscribing, are mystified with missing this and that, and of course, non-subscribers can literally want to avoid subscribing, to avoid un-desired UI changes (me).  I personally think they've lost their minds (temporarily of course).  Then, there's the training chaos problem.

The other issue, as a former executive, is 'normally' you want to drag your customer into your product-space (vs your competition, and FL has a LOT of FREE competition).  But charging for 'help' etc is silly ... true they're using an AI 3rd party.

So, returning to your point, I'd suspect the forums will return to 'normal', once FL consolidates the UI features to all users.  Else, I agree with you ... the forums will largely be chaos-discussion.

    LOL.

I've felt that way at times, too. On the other hand, if it comes to scrolling through Twit-Face vs the forums, I'd rather see the chaos here than the chaos there.

I helped test the new forum software and think it will lend itself to less chaos, FWIW. It's definitely going to be streamlined compared to current.

I think you could say it is streamlined, but forums for Desktop App, Web App and Mobile App do not exist (except for the Beta forum). The degree of chaos is dependent on the user being prompted to provide the relevant information and/or provide appropriate Tags for these traditional groups.
