More icons in the icon library
Please add more Icons and let us add our own for use in note icons, shortcuts bar and highlighting pallets.
The entire library could be accessed and selected from within the current drop down view instead of a limited choice that exists currently in each drop down.
These would enable us to have more descriptive labels and aide in personal organization of documents and resources than what we currently have.

I've been asking, cajoling, begging, pleading, etc. for expanded SC bar icons in UserVoice for ten years. So I'd love to see this implemented. There was one (very small) upgrade about four or five years back. Usability study is needed (i.e., what are some tasks users will want to do with a SC...then come up with a creative icon for it...for example, "update active layout" is probably on a whole buncha SC bars...and it has no logical icon available).
This is why I don't use Notes so much, because of the large icons cluttering the screen. I know this can be turned on and off, but it doesn't solve the problem. The Note Icons are the only ones hyperlinked in a Resource. If the Custom Highlighter icons can be hyperlinked it would solve a lot of things. If the Note Icons are the way to go it would be nice to have all alphanumeric icons to use like footnotes.
As far as what these icons should look like or represent, I would generally think they should be representative of Biblical themes or things found in the Bible to start with. The icons currently in the notes tool are mostly geometric designs or represent office filing functions. The only true biblical icons there are the two cross icons.
I sincerely hope Logos comes back around to this Notes Tool and does some good updating soon.
