New feature: Send to Mobile

On the tab menu, include a "Send to Mobile" option, which would automatically open the resource on your preferred mobile device. It would make it easy to track down a resource or article, then take it elsewhere to read on mobile.

If I am on my phone reading, can I not have a button to send the current reading to my PC/Mac and continue reading there? Can we do vice versa from PC/Mac and send to phone with an option to include other open tabs? It should include additional option on the phone and desktop to send what and location of what I am reading back to the other? Isn't this now standard on most apps? Do not all in 2020's now pretty much allow one to start something on one platform and push it to another these days?

This is similar to a request of mine-- I would like for my open books in the desktop app's layout to be easily synchronized or available (optional?) in the mobile app. I don't want to open 10 tabs on my phone that I've already found and opened on my desktop.  ;)

@John Michael Holmes  Agreed.  I want to send a particular resource to my mobile device, not every open tab.
  • Came here to say the same thing. Books, long articles, and sermons are often better read on mobile, but easier found on desktop. Find a Spurgeon sermon you'd like to read while doing other research? Go search for "The Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit Sermons, Vol. LVIII" on your phone's library. Or preferably, click on the options button on the tab on desktop, and hit "send to mobile" and pick up your tablet to read. Often there are things I find that are interesting that I don't have time to read right now, so "send to mobile" would be a perfect way to put it aside until I have time to read it later.

Just thinking about this today. Pulled up St. Patrick's Breastplate prayer on my desktop and I would love to be able to send it to my mobile device without having to search for it again.

Also, can we combine these feature requests: New Feature: Send to Desktop/Mobile — Logos Community

Logos changed to a more universal http link throughout the app. In the library, Logos already has a list of devices. We should be able to select one of those devices Logos already knows about and send the link for the book/resource there. Send the link and the next time you open your device (or at least the Logos app), you get a notification to open that Logos link.

Also, this needs a customizable keyboard shortcut to make it even more useful. Setup one keyboard shortcut for tablet and another one for phone.

In terms of the OP's request, the Resource Information panel (Home > Show Information if on subscription) has a section for Devices. This will show your mobile devices and the Apps on each device:

Vyrso = Faithlife Ebooks means that FL have neglected this facility for some time. But a check means that the book is loaded on that device. If the check box is empty, then clicking it will send that resource to the app on that device (give it a few minutes).
If you want to delete a listed device (no longer owned), or if you want to give it a user friendly name, then click the Manage… link to do so.
