    I remember the newsgroups. My profile badge says my membership is "ancient." What is most important is the quality of the discussion, not the format. That said, I find there's too much white space in this new system.

    I miss George … I was one who waited to the last minute to leave the newsgroups for the forums. The change was about the same as today's … some good, some bad, and some of the greatest improvements being irrelevant to me at the moment (I rarely use mobile).

    I was thinking of George as well when I pulled up that post. I have learned a lot from this community.
