Parity: Interlinear Reader's Edition

The desktop app allows users to create a custom reader's Bible using the Lexham Hebrew or Greek-English Interlinear resource and then hide information for words occurring more than x times. This is helpful, but I use the desktop app for more reference/research purposes and the mobile app for more reading purposes, so this feature would be much more practical on the mobile app.

It would be useful for language learning to bring the 'reader mode' over to mobile.

  • Yes please. This is what we need! Interlinear readers mode on mobile!
  • I just logged on to Feedback to suggest this same thing! I totally agree with Ben’s comments.
  • This is absolutely fundamental to my needs in Logos. What good is the mobile app if not for reading Scripture? This feature was practically made for mobile. Please implement it asap. Thank you!
  • Super important. Really would appreciate it!
  • I see the status has been updated to needs your opinion. I just want to reiterate that there's no more important feature to me at this time! Thank you!

On mac, I can view words that occur less than x number of times. On iPad I cannot and would like to.

I wish this app had the ability to either turn off certain English Words so that we could see the original transliteration in its place OR (and I think this would be better) if we could turn ON certain words from the original text. For example, "soul" is often from the Hebrew word "Nephesh". If I could turn "on" the word Nephesh so that I could see every time the word is used (whether that be instead of the English word or with Nephesh out to the side). I think that would be an incredibly useful feature!

on the web app we are able to change our interlinears without changing the bible version, could this please be brought to mobile along with the rest of the pieces like ancient Versions or transcription's that are available on web but not on mobile under exegetical guide? thank you.

I think i'd like this too.  I'm not into interlinears as such, but reader's editions are wonderful.  And i'd be more likely to use them on the tablet than on the desktop.
  • Would be very useful!  Please consider adding.

Definitely. I often and repeatedly search for a mobile app that does this even though I already can do it on Logos desktop.
  • Totally, please implement this! Any updates @faithlife?
  • I’ve wanted this feature for a while now. Completely agree!

Great idea. Also, I’d like the option to create a “tighter” interlinear display that just shows the morphology and Strongs number - as sub and/or superscripts. This allows more per screen and creates readability.

I use my RI constantly; so, having this on my iPad would be magnificent.
