Just looking at the changes to the dashboard. Tiny typo: the "c" on "card" should be capitalized.

@Aaron Hamilton, got it! I'll let the team know you spotted that. Thank you.

@Matt Mattox - very pleased with the tweaks with inline search. FAB! 🔥

I appreciate the correction to the Bible Study Builder. It makes it worthwhile to use.

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.

We typically capitalize the names of features but not other words. In this case, that looks a bit odd because "card" is the only word in this menu that isn't the name of a feature.

I'm not a subscriber. I just updated to Logos 38 and when I click on the release notes, it contains ONLY information about improvements to the subscribers. Not a single mention of anything like bug fixes or changes to the core Logos program for everyone. I find this to be a huge step backwards. Please give us the type of release notes we've been getting for years about what changes and bug fixes have been made, not just pushing the features for subscribers.

It looks as though they contain those details now.

I can't figure out how to make a reply to a post in the new forums, but here's what I discovered:
The link given by the poster from Logos who started this thread does in fact give exactly what I was looking for and expected to find.
HOWEVER, the link to release notes from inside the Logos App goes to someplace completely different and only gives feature improvements for subscribers, and not the typical bug fixes and changes. I think that having two different versions of the release notes is extremely confusing and not helpful.

Sorry about that John, that was my fault. I added the wrong URL to the release notes hyperlink. I just updated the URL to redirect to our blog post which contains the details and matches with the link in the application.
Again, sorry about any confusion I might have caused.

FYI: I'm still researching but this download "broke" the Concordance guide - prophet returns 1 result; command returns no results. I have reindexed my Bible, but there may be a serious data problem as a result of this update. I'll let you know the details of the problem when I've sorted it out a bit better.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I know this might be for another discussion or even a new thread, but what is the concordance tool used for? I've never really delved into it before.

Okay this update I'm excited to download and try out. I'm a fan of the Factbook (also the Toolbar!) and look forward to seeing how it helps me out.

As you may well know, it tells you the number of times a word occurs in the Bible or in a range of Bible verses (the find tool comes in handy if you're looking at a large range of verses). What's great in my view is that it's not limited to English, so you can select a range of Scripture from any different Bible in your library, including original language Bibles. You can also search non-Bibles (perhaps even your entire library? Honestly, I've never tried…).
How might this be helpful? Word Study, Identifying themes, or cross-referencing to name a few. I think it's pretty neat.0 -
I was speaking of the concordance guide which is a viewer for labels rather than the concordance tool which supports textual studies and reference identification.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

What biblical range are you checking this in @MJ. Smith?

Most of the runs have been Gen-Rev after having gotten 1 or zero results on a more reasonable range

Strange - I got results for both labels just in Genesis and on two separate computers.

I like the improvements in Version 38.0.
How can I "like" this Version (and not only @Matt Mattox' post regarding this (as I did anyway) ?0 -
By renewing your subscription when it expires 😉

Please add the shortcut information to the interlinear dropdown menu, as is typically the practice with other shortcuts.
Edit: Nevermind, I found it. I see that since there are two interlinear shortcuts, they have been listed in another location:

in spite of multiple efforts to update the software my version remains at V37.2.12
I have tried Update Now, Update Resources, and cold restarts of the desktop app.
Any suggestions or does this need attention from Logos support?

Well, I never saw this coming. My MAC running Monterey 12.7 is no longer supported. This did not seem to be conveyed as Logos transitioned to subscriptions. Now I am at a loss as to what to do since I am not prepared to replace my MacBook Air. This seems to render the subscription as less than desirable since I seem to be locked out of future Logos updates

This is independent of the subscriptions. See
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Shortcut for "paste without formatting" (Shift + Command + V) on Notes not working at all. Mac OS (Logos 38.0.578)
No action when I press the shortcut. It works normally on Sermon Builder.

Thank you MJ. I didn’t seem to get the memo. I was able to download Verbum 37.2. I did try the open core patcher for Mac but I am missing something. O will try again or get a Mac expert to assist

@Matt Mattox can you please explain to more about the update of the info section to The Bible Study Builder. On Mobile I am unable to search for the document with passage list that was added or Topics, Tags. I can only search for it by the name of the title. Am I missing something.
