A21 - Resizing

First, I am using A21.

I am having some difficulty resizing the right hand side of the screen. If I have three panels, I can adjust the width of the left panel, but so far cannot adjust the middle or right panel. Is this a common issue? Any thoughts?

This is precisely the problem I was referring to in another post. I've received no response to that post, perhaps because I posted the issue in the wrong thread. Anyway, let me reiterate the problem below and see if this is the thread where I need to bring this up.

There are some panels in my layout which I cannot drag to resize. The arrow below is pointing to the place where I can click and drag. This works.

Again, when I click where the arrow above is pointing, I get a cursor that I can use to drag the panel to the size of my choice. However, as the screen shot below shows, when I click in the oval area, I can never get a cursor to appear to drag this panel. This causes the interlinear buttons to be truncated on my screen. When I go full screen on this panel the buttons are completely visible.

Is this just a temporary situation with L4 Mac, or is it just the way it is planned to be?

It operates the same way it does in the Windows version. The Information and Text comparison panels are kind of their own "thing". If you notice in the screenshot the border between the information/Text Comparison and the Bible/Commentary panels is a bit thicker, and when you re-size the entire window the Text Comparison/Information window stays the same size while everything else re-sizes appropriately. This is all by design.The results of the Homepage search is to easily and without much work get as much information as possible from very little user input.

What is not by design however is how difficult it is to see if your mouse is in a position between two panels where you can re-size them. I'll create a bug report for that.

I have a VM running the Windows version and I can't do it there either. I got rid of Information panel and moved Text Comparison to the bottom of the screen. I got the idea from your user posted videos. Mark did it in his 1st Sermon Prep video. I really liked the layout so I tried to emulate it. I thought it might be a Mac issue, so I tried it again in the Windows version.

So even without the Tex Comparison/Information window I can't do it.

Most of the "tools" windows open
up by default in a non-resizable sidebar area. I think that's probably so they don't cover existing windows by default, while, at the same time, it prevents them from taking over the whole screen if you open several tools.

However you can drag
them out of that "sidebar" area to another location where they can be resized as you wish. In the Windows version, there is a light vertical line in the border of the sidebar, buit looks to me like the Mac version just has a wider border indicating that it isn't resizeable.
