How to eliminate Word 365 warning when opening link to Logos

I often link quotations in Word 365 documents to their source in Logos. But when I click on a link, I now get the warning depicted below, with the warning "Microsoft Office has identified a potential security concern. This location may be unsafe." I have to approve the link each time.

I've searched far and wide online, and not found a solution. Has any of you worked through this issue and found a solution for Word 365? Thanks.

Ah, I missed your emphasis the first time.

That's the problem we're fixing in v39. The links that currently open a web browser will start opening Logos directly, so you will no longer need to employ your workaround.

This is the reason we invented Refly links (because many applications just don't support logos4: or logosres: links well).

We have great news for Windows users: in v39, you'll be able to click a https://ref.ly link in other applications and have it open the desktop application immediately, without opening your web browser first. See below for details:

Thanks for responding, Bradley! But I don't know what ref.ly is or how to use it.

I was sorry when Logos lost the ability to paste text with an automatic link that directly opened Logos. So I just adopted the workaround:

Select the text in Logos, drag to Word
Back in Logos, use Ctrl + C to copy direct link
Right-click link in Word doc, select Edit Hyperlink, past in new link address(e.g. logosres:bodydivinity;ref=VolumePage.V_1,_p_606;off=2865;ctx=But_at_other_times~we_read_of_his_preac)

The link then opens directly in Logos. I probably have thousands of such entries in documents now. If I understand correctly they'll still work. But what will be the new way of quickly linking text I move from Logos to my document?

And (as looks likely) if I give up on the pay-forever version of Logos, what then?

"refly" is just our description of the hyperlink that is copied when you use "Copy link" from the Share menu in the new toolbar, or "Copy Location As > URL" in the old toolbar. You should use this instead of "Copy as … L4".

I don't know what this means, sorry; we never took that capability away. Make sure you have "Hyperlink copied citations" enabled in Program Settings.

But what will be the new way of quickly linking text I move from Logos to my document?

Select text, copy. Go to Word, paste. It inserts a citation with a hyperlink for me right now.

Select the text in Logos, drag to Word

I also tried dragging a selection (from Logos 39 to Word v2411 and the dragged text had a citation with a hyperlink back to Logos.

Edit - Found a listing in the Beta Release notes - it appears to be a release to the General installation.

When I copy and paste or drag and drop, as you did, it does copy the text with a link. But the link opens a browser, which then opens Logos. It does not "directly open Logos." To do that, I need to Ctrl + C the text selection in Logos, and then Edit Hyperlink in Word. I used to have the open to paste with a link that would open Logos directly. When I complained of it in a forum (years ago) a Logos employee basically said, "Yeah, we dropped that."

Just to clarify, ref.ly links are recognised in Word, so you don't get the Warning unlike the older L4 link you use. Disabling the Warning is a frustrating exercise as I found 4 suggestions that did not work, with two in Word Options and another two in the Registry. So I'll put up with the Warning until ref.ly is implemented as per Bradley's comments
