Update/Edit: Called logos, the fellow said that he can see how it would seem misleading, and will recommend that they change how that looks, but it is only for those who meet the requirements (of having purchased logos 10, etc.). I asked that he try to do something for me, and he acted like he would, but I'm not super hopeful. Also, just to clarify and be fair to logos, I checked today and it only displays the fallback license after you purchased. I actually almost switched to the 2 year at once subscription, until I clicked on the monthly tab and it indicated it was included with my current plan.
Initially, I was under the impression that after paying for logos for 2 years (a big selling point for me), I would be able to cancel and retain all of the offline features that were included in my package (pro), but now I am not so sure. As you can see from attached photos, when I view my current monthly subscription plan, it indicates that the legacy fallback license is included.
However when you view the faq ( under
https://www.logos.com/subscription-faq
), under the question "who is eligible for the legacy fallback license?" it indicates that it is only for those who have purchased a logos 10 or earlier base package, and, being a brand new customer, I have not done that. Also, under this apparently official statement, we are told that the license "won't be offered to new customers". This could have changed since this was posted, but even from the logos website, it seems to give conflicting information. Any clarification about my possession of a license would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
