Copy Bible verse on my iPad
Hi Logos community,
I use Logos mainly on my iPad. When I copy a selected Bible verse then it looks like this. Two examples, first Revelation 5:1 and second Revelation 5:2.
My questions:
- How can I copy only the Bible verse and not the headline, when I select verse 1?
- How can I put the Bible book and verse to the end?
2 And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?”
Offenbarung 5,2 (ESV)
Thank you and God bless you, Daniel

Would clipping it work? I tried copy/paste and mine won’t even list the book/verse.
But if I clip; it does this:0 -
I dont't have my iPad at hand. So I can only tell you that on the desktop, you can create your own citation style:

Hi @Tyrel , clipping does not work. If I paste it into iMessage for example, a link is posted as well.
copying works, but only with the limitations I wrote in the beginning.0 -
Thank you @NichtnurBibelleser Yeah you can do a lot of things in the desktop version, but not on the iPad.
This is why I ask specific questions to see if there is any hint for the iPad.
Is there any other help or simple not possible?
Thank you.0 -
For the first question, go to View Settings (in the three dots at the upper right), choose Reformat Text, and deselect Non-Bible text. This will remove the periscope names and they won’t show up when you copy the passage(s).
For the second question, go to the More menu (at the bottom right), select Settings, and check your Citation settings. Play around with them to see the output.

Hi, Thank you for the answer. I appreciate.
I can change the view settings. Thank you for that. When I copy a text without a setting, they are not fully removed and still copied as a blank line. But I can work with it.
I also understand the issue that I cannot create a unique citation on my iPad and I need to live with the given styles.
God bless you, Daniel
