Hi guys, I have over 8k books in my logos library but totally lost faith (pun intended) with Logos and going back to printed or kindle books (work much better for me). I only use logos as I do with the kindle app; one book open at a time only. I have never used any features since they have no use personally. The program is not aimed at people like myself as I have never understood the purpose of its features (ie why you would want them unless you write sermons etc). I do not 'touch' anything aimed at pastoral, counselling, preaching, marriage, family, Greek, Hebrew, ministry, reformation era, anything printed pre 1975… Unfortunately, the guy who came from wordsearch mis-sold me material he insisted I really needed to make logos function as wordsearch (one 'upgrade' added I thin 60+ interlinears which he know had no use to me). As I only use logos a handful of times a year, I was unable to get them refunded as I only noticed these extra titles around six months later by accident.
It is probably my ADD and dyslexia, but I read a chapter or two of the Bible or a commentary. I'm not interested in the features such as factbook or even a simple search. I see no benefit of seeing how many times a word is used in the Bible. I did experiment with it once, and it gave so many irrelevant entries I never used it again. The search results had Greek or Hebrew words which just annoyed me as I'm not interested. Then there were quotes; again, no use.
So, I'm looking to sell my whole account. I no longer purchase material here and either get printed titles (far easier to read and flick through) or if the price is much lower, kindle. The way I use logos, the logos advertising of titles are better is incorrect for me; vastly inferior. I now only open the program every four/five months just for updates. If anyone would like the list of titles, please contact me. If trying to sell the account here is against some policy, could someone advise where I can advertise.
