when selecting sermon I can't seem to select by bible reference - only by title?
Is there a default setting that can change sermon selections to be biblical reference based - rather than sermon title based?
Not in the Sermon Builder (or in the Documents menu)
But if you have the Sermon Manager Tool, you can filter sermons by biblical book and sort by reference.
Might help a little
Welcome to the Logos Community @G Retief !!!
As Graham mentioned the Sermon Manager Tool is the most detailed way to accomplish your goal. I'd like to add in that you can also use the Passage Guide (Linked to your Bible via Linkset) as part of your Layout and it has a section for 'Sermons' that will show any Sermons related to the Biblical text you are viewing - both your own and those in your Library.
thank you - both helpful comments. When I use my iOS Logos - on a iPad mostly - to preach, and I open sermons - only my titles are there - and I can't search the sermons by bible passage. This is my problem!
I can only comment on the Android app - however I am pretty sure that they are the same in function. If all you can see is the Sermons in the default table format - look to the top left corner and tap the 'Hamburger' menu (Three horizontal lines) - that will open the Filter menu and should allow you to sort as you'd like.
Also the Search Box next to it - this should allow you to type in the Scripture Reference and show corresponding Sermons.
Side Note - tapping the 'Info' icon to the far right is beneficial at times as well
Try using Sermon Manager on iPad to filter the sermons, not by starting in the Documents - Sermons section
Although I have just seen a strange bug with this that I've reported at
thanks for your help

how to import kindle references or to read kindle references from the software?
Does the Factbook have a Bible book outline section? So often I want to get an outline overview of a Bible book that I am studying. It would be a really nice feature if one is available.

When I enter the question Why does James think prayer is for all Christians? the Study Assistant advises me that the search was constrained to sources authored by James - even though this doesn't seem to be the case. This doesn't seem quite right - is there some refinement needed to how its algorithms are working? As far…
