Finding my missing post

hi there
I posted a message on this forum earlier today covering a number of problems with reading plans. The post was successfully saved on the forum. I then made an edit to the post and saved it successfully. I made a second edit later to add in a new tag, however this edit failed on save with an exception of some sort. I assumed that my original, saved post would still be available. However it has totally disappeared. It is not in my drafts, is there anyway to recover the post please?
thanks
Paul

So far, most of the posts that go AWOL pop up again. The behavior is not been predictable as far as I can see but @Jason Stone (Logos) has elevated the issue and appreciates additional examples.

Paul, can you tell me what browser you're using to make and edit these posts? Thank you.

Our forums are regularly reviewed for posts that are tagged with Bug, as that post is. Thank you!

The forum just ate one of my posts too. I tried to edit the post and it display some error message and disappeared. Tried to repost and it will not let me.

I had one do the same (using Safari), I edited to add the "bug" tag, and poof gone. I ending up rewriting it. If editing it can cause it to go to "spam" that's not good.

Can you please direct me to your post that was eventually posted? I'm going to look into the missing post.

@Jason Stone (Logos) If you are talking to me, I don't know what happened to the original post I had to rewrite it. The re-post is below. I believe I named it very similar and the original post was on the 15th of January. All I know is when I went to edit the original post to add a tag, at the bottom where the tag section is, I typed "bug," clicked on the available tag option, and got an error message when I tried to update (no idea what it said). I tried two more times, but it did not work. It was late, so I decided to try again the next day. However, the post was gone that next morning. I thought it was due to the error and rewrote the whole thing. However, it seems other people had a similar problem.

I had the same experience. Is there any reason why editing of tags is not temporarily disabled to avoid this problem for users?

I doubt that editing of tags is, in itself, the culprit. I have lost several posts - always an update but not always editing tags. And I have edited many tags with no difficulties.

Well, both Christopher and I (and maybe John) had problems with error messages appearing on editing tags. Since this is a commonality disabling it until a cause & resolution is found seems sensible. If there are problems editing posts more generally then that's a separate decision.

I posted this almost a week ago, roughly when do you think whoever is assigned to bugs will get to it please?

@Paul M, a case was opened last week and I had just heard back this morning with the following note:
This fix will be out with 2025.001 release. Our plan is to deploy 2025.001 to staging this week. With your production site receiving the full 2025.001 release most likely next week.
A fix is incoming!
