The Bicentennial Edition of John Wesley's Works

For over a decade I have been asking for Logos to obtain rights to the Bicentennial Editon of John Wesley's Works, which is published by Abingdon Press.  It is the only edition of Wesley's Works in over a hundred years.  It is the only edition of Wesley's Works that contains notes and articles by the greatest Wesley Scholars of our time.

Frankly, it is absurd for Logos to even sell a "Methodist Package" without including the Bicentennial Edition of Wesley.

I fully support you. The publisher usually refuses to allow Logos editions, but they should be able to at least bring some files over for eBooks (which Faithlife typically aren't very interested in, but will produce).

I would like to bump this request.

It is still very much desired among the many Wesleyan branches of denominations.

This is probably what is keeping Logos from offering Wesely's Works Bicentenial Edition: Wesley Works Digital Edition

Rob, I doubt that is the problem. After all, almost all of Logos resources are already published electronically by many various sources, such as Amazon, Kindle, Kobo, and so on. That doesn't keep Logos from seeking to publish them as well.

Perhaps they do not think there are not enough Wesleyan customers to make it worthwhile. With the new evangelical conservative Methodist denomination (The Global Methodist Church) this would seem to be a good time to offer solid Methodist resources and make them aware of Logos. Hundreds of thousands of evangelical Methodist are leaving the liberal United Methodist Church. Someone is going to serve these potential customers. I wish Logos would do so.
