Dear person asking stupid questions

Not you, you haven't asked stupid questions. It is more likely that you are in the category of not asking enough questions.

You may have found a way to do it, but there may be a simpler way if you would just ask. Some users have found some very clever ways to use Logos.

You may want a different way to do something that will cut down on steps. Discuss it before asking for it. You may find that what you want is already available just not labeled/implemented as you expect. OR you may find that what you want isn't a good solution because the tool can do so much more than you knew that your "extra steps" are actually "required steps" when you look at all the tool does.

You may think Logos lacks a feature. It is a definite possibility that it can't do the function you want. But at least for myself, often I can't find a feature because I am using the wrong words. If I'm given the words to use, I'm off and running.

You may be very frustrated because you make the same mistakes over and over and over. We may not be able to help but we might make you feel better because we've all had muscle memory errors that we make over and over and over.

Just remember when you ask "dumb" questions, what you are really doing is:

• showing Logos where users get confused or can't find features
• leaving a trail of answers to help users coming after you
• possibly giving new members of the forum practice answering actual questions so they become more adept
• possible giving MVP's an interesting question to mull over as it is something very reasonable to want to do but the MVP has never run into the need before
• possibly giving a group of fellow forumites of all levels, a chance to identify and define an obscure bug in the app
• even if only minimally, increasing your understanding of the app so you can use it more effectively

Not a bad set of consequences from asking a "dumb" question. So, don't be shy, don't be embarrassed, ask.
