Just purchased new PC and have installed LOGOS.  Of course, it is missing my personal books.  How do I get them transferred to new PC so that LOGOS can see them again?

The easiest way to do this is to use "Personal Book Upload". Personal Book Sync allows you to automatically download compiled personal books on other desktop installations. Here is the thread that introduced this new feature in Logos 6 - https://community.logos.com/forums/t/92788.aspx

You can use the Scan command to get them from the resources folder on the old PC (use steps 1 & 3 to illustrate what to backup and use of the Scan command). Scan will load any resources missing from your new installation.

The scan command is exactly that: a command you put in in the command box to have Logos execute it. It will look for Logos resources you have licensed in the location you specify - it just happens that PBs fall under them.

In order for it to work transferring books from one machine to the next one, you need to have the compiled PBs (or simply all your *.logos4 files or the complete resources folder) from your old machine available at the location you point the scan command to - e.g. you put them unto a thumbdrive/USB-stick that is mounted as D:\ , then you put scan D:\ into the command bar and let it run.
