(Potential) BUG: Note updating speed

How long does it take for changes made in the desktop app to update in the mobile app?

In my experience, changes made to notes in the mobile app populate into the desktop app in less than a minute. I can watch the changes occur if I'm patient (tens of seconds). Going from the desktop app to the mobile app seems to take much, much longer…and I find this troubling. I'm concerned that I am potentially editing my notes and then potentially overwriting those edits because they aren't populating fast enough. I made some changes to a note in the desktop app well over half-an-hour ago, that still have not populated into my mobile app, and I believe that if I went to the mobile note file and made edits there, then those edits (MINUS THE EDITS THAT NEVER POPULATED) would populate back into desktop app and I would lose the earlier edits.

Hours after making the edits in desktop that I described above and still seeing no update in the mobile app, I tried completely closing the mobile app, and now I see that the updates are there. Unfortunately, it is a significant design flaw that the app has to be completely restarted just to register note edits.

You should be able to refresh a note by moving to another note and returning to the original note OR by closing and reopening the Note tool. Did you try either of those methods to trigger a refresh. a refresh must be triggered for an update to show.

I don't recall if I switched notes or not in mobile. I think I did.

The changes in Mobile appear in the Desktop app in (delayed) real time. I can see the changes happening in batches in the open desktop note window—it seems that you have to stop making changes in mobile for a period of time before the changes populate in the desktop note window. Sometimes, I have had to close the desktop note window and reopen it to see the changes.
