@Dan Langston I believe the CBS Baker Illustrated Study Bible is basically a condensed version of the Baker Illustrated Bible Commentary. Is that right?

Don’t get your hopes high! Unfortunately, the Logos version will not have good quality images for this “Illustrated” Study Bible.

That's interesting, I haven't found that in illustrations from other resources

As most Logos users know, graphics is not Logos's strong suit (Unfortunately). I have it in Olive Tree and the pictures pop up in another window and you can zoom them in and out. With Logos you can't do that.

I haven't used maps in years. I just now went + found 3 volumes of maps to use. L's maps will suit me fine. Dal, it's probably because I would need a quick look only - no zooming - that I am happy with them.

I looked at samples of each. I like the SB version better, as it does notes on smaller chunks, mentioning on many verses in that grouping. The horse does not stray far from the barn; its in the corral.

The Comm surveys vast chunks at a time, which is too large for my learning. The horse? It probably has rented a house in the nearest city; I no longer see it.
