"Last Accessed" in Library grid

In the desktop app (Windows 11, latest of everything), the "Last Accessed" field does not seem to work properly. I have several books that I have used in the past, but they have no record of having been accessed according to the "Last Accessed" field. Is this a bug? Or did it just start tracking that info recently? Or is it something else?

    From looking at this in my library, it seems the "Last Accessed" field gets reset to blank with a new install (and the last updated field gets reset to the install date, so I don't have any last accessed earlier than the earliest "last updated" which was my last installation date)

    Yes, and it also gets updated when a corrected version is downloaded or when downloads from the cloud. Its more like a "last time something other than the indexer touched this file".
