Is this possible?
Hi David,
Sorry, but there is no keyboard shortcut for "Add Clipping." You can only click the "Add Clipping" button or you can drag and drop from a resource into the clipping document.
no keyboard shortcut, but it is easy from the "right-click" menu
1. select the text you want to clip (red circle) and right-click
2. make sure "selection" is selected in the right-click menu. (green circle)
3. scroll down a little in the right-click menu (purple bracket) [many new users do not realize you can scroll down and get more options in this menu]
4. Select the Clipping file you wish to place the clipping into. (yellow highlight)
[it is really much easier than it sounds, once you get the hang of it}
It would be nice to have a shortcut - to add clippings and one to add a note.
What do you mean by Logos 9? We usually require the OS and the software version of Logos you are using.
Wow! I hardly remember making this post. It was made in 2020 - I am guessing that 9 was the version I used then. I'm still a big fan of keyboard shortcuts, so I still wouldn't mind if it were possible to add a clipping via keyboard shortcut.
My version today is 39.1 on a Mac. I have a Pro subscription.
My mistake. I didn't look at the date.
