I would like to make a recommendation/request for the following title:
Messiah in the Old Testament,
Author: Walter C. Kaiser Jr.
Publisher: Zondervan; Revised ed. edition (August 21, 1995)
https://www.amazon.com/Messiah-Old-Testament-Walter-Kaiser/dp/031020030X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1516511444&sr=8-1&keywords=the+messiah+in+the+old+testament
@BKMitchell we will put in a request to license with the publisher. However, I note that they do not even offer a digital version themselves. The fact that the book is now 30 years old (!) may indicate that they don't actually have digital files.
Thank you so much for you message and for your consideration!
I would love to see this volume in digital form. I wonder if the author has the digital files. I am pretty sure few people were still using typewritters in the early 1990's I think Windows 3.1 and some versions of DOS (IBM PC DOS / MS-DOS) were popular.
I also would love to see this book in Logos format. It is an absolutely fantastic resource that I've used in my courses and am still using today.
Thanks!
Todd S. Beall (I've taught in seminaries since 1997)
@BKMitchell we checked, and unfortunately, the publisher does not have digital files for this title, so I'm switching this status to "Not Now" for the moment.
@Todd Beall I don't know your seminary's status with Logos, but if this book were being used in classes for which we were providing textbooks, this would add weight to considering developing the title ourselves from a print copy.
I taught at Capital Bible Seminary full-time from 1977-2013. I'm currently teaching adjunct at The Master's Seminary (DC extension). I know they have some sort of relationship with Logos, because all my students have Logos packages!
This is a wonderful work (Kaiser's), and it is not that large a book, so I wouldn't think it would be too hard to get in Logos format. Of course, I'm a bit biased!
In Christ,
Todd
Thank you so much for the updated information!
Some scholars argue that Jacob Arminius was a Reformed theologian and held to the basic tenets of Reformed soteriology. But is this the best way to understand Arminius? In this perceptive set of essays, J. V. Fesko reassesses the context and meaning of Arminius's writings on topics such as predestination, effectual…
I live outside of USA, trying to preferably get a pdf ( ebook ) copy of this book for my Doctorate study. Finding hard copy from US very expensive and even worse is the freight cost. Cheers
Logos has the Spanish version of this book available. It would be great to have the English version available.
Would be nice if a Swedish Bible translation could be available in Logos. There are several translations which are available to the public domain and no longer copyrighted. One I would suggest is Bibeln 1917.
