How do I add a foreground...

I'm trying to cover a song's slides on the congregation tab but maintain everything on the livestream and confidence tabs. I can add a foreground, but I have to cover each slide individually. Is there an easier way to do this?

Watch a PowerPoint tutorial on YouTube. I’m sure there are a few out there. I think it has to do with creating a Master Slide. Maybe someone who knows more can chime in.

I'm not in PPT, I'm in Proclaim.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean, @Kim Buhr. Are you trying not to have the song slides be visible in house? Is it the lyrics that you want to be invisible? If that is the case, then I would go into the font color and slide the Alpha slider all the way down (or change the value for A to 0%). Of course you also have to remove any font effects because they will remain. The fonts on the confidence monitor and lower thirds wouldn't be affected by this. Then you only need to change the background one time and it will have the effect that you are hoping to achieve.

If I am getting it wrong, please help me to understand and perhaps I can offer better help.

@Kim Buhr I think we do exactly what you are trying to do, we show a scene video or slide on the projectors to the congregation, and on the confidence monitor we have script cues. I'm not sure about Livestream because we don't use it, this is for VBS, but I think it will work the same way. I also assume you can use Import instead of Browse media, but I always preload my media so I can't say for sure. I keep detailed notes because I only do this once per year, and I just started working on it so it's possible this is outdated. The last part is in all caps in my notes, so I must have tried other methods and they didn't work. I hope this helps you!

Here is what I have in my notes: Bulk select all slides you want to cover using shift-click, click on the Foreground tab, and then click on the drop-down arrow for Foreground on the upper right of the Edit screen (next to the photo icon). Select "Browse Media" under ADD FOREGROUND IMAGE. Navigate to whatever you want to be on the screens, and click “Apply as Smart Media” under the Current Slide label. YOU CANNOT ADD FOREGROUND ANY OTHER WAY AND HAVE IT WORK PROPERLY WHERE IT ONLY SHOWS ON SCREENS.

for the original question, when you add a foreground image, if you want it on all slides, right click on and it and check ‘show on all slides’
