BUG: Not able to select/highlight text due to images in margin

I sometimes use the Concordia Commentary series in my study. These commentaries have images in the side margins (alongside the text).

BUG: In the desktop app (Win/ 40.2.4./Logos Pro) I am not able to select/highlight text that appears alongside one of these margin images. (See image) I am not able to select any of the text you see pictured (other than the heading).

I have confirmed this with multiple volumes in this series.

The web app also exhibits this bug.

I can reproduce this behavior, and I have opened a ticket.

I can also reproduce the behavior, but it looks like I am able to select and highlight text if I (carefully) start dragging the selection on a space between words. Would that serve as a workaround for now?

The issue would be how to notify other users of the workaround. Often users give up and get angry rather than coming to the forums.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I'm simply trying to get the OP unblocked until the ticket is resolved.

Thanks Bradley. The workaround I’ve been using for now is to triple-click a word in the sentence I was to highlight. This creates a list of filtered search results and I can then highlight the full sentence. Hope the bug gets resolved soon.
