Help! Sync issues and having to force the Logos Bible application to close.
Hello! I've noticed Logos continually syncing (spinning sync icon) on multiple occasions without generating the red error symbol.
Upon closing the app, the Sync window appeared and did not disappear until I clicked "Exit Now". On the most recent occasions, "Exit Now" did not work, and I had to force close the program. I have tried multiple things, including logging out and logging back in, repairing sync, uninstalling Logos and re-installing, and getting rid of my antivirus software.
My computer is a MacBook Pro (M2). The macOS is Sequoia 15.3.1. I have Logos 10 with 40.1.10 software.

This is a bug and we are working on a fix.
In the meantime, I can only recommend force quitting Logos on your Mac or restarting your computer to alleviate this problem somewhat.
Another possible action to take is to open Logos on your computer while holding down the Control key (Windows) or the Command key (Mac).
These actions nay only provide temporary relief.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
Not sure if it is the same issue but I suspect that it might be:
I noticed indeed that the sync dialog when closing Logos takes longer. The last couple times that I clicked on the dialog's "exit now" button, the following attempt to start Logos froze. I had to go in task manager to shut down all the CEF processes before I could get into Logos. Windows 11, Desktop 40.1.10, logs attached.
Yes I am having the same problem! In my case I don't think it will close because I think it's not able SYNC
PLUS an overall inability to sync, which means I'm worried about my sermon docs if my computer had a problem. And it prevents me from entering sermon Preaching Mode, which is really unfortunate on Sundays.
It was not fixed with the most recent update
I had this syncing problem a while back and it ended up being a corruption of one of my sermon documents. I went back to about the time I thought the problem started and backed up those sermons to word and then deleted them from inside Logos. This resolved my syncing issue.
You can then make new sermon documents of the ones you backed up and it should be Okay.
So sorry to hear this. So that you can get focused support, please start a fresh thread on this, giving any other information that you think might be useful and if possible, post some logs.
Same thing happening to me now, Windows 10.
Logos won't boot up now either. It's frozen, I will have to restart my computer to fix it.
