How to cite the Factbook??

Does anyone know how to cite the summary/definition section of the Factbook like I've circled in the image below? I want to use that description but not as if it were my own original statement. I've tried copying/pasting into Word to see if it includes an automatic citation, but it doesn't.

Any ideas?? Thanks!

Use the panel menu to show the Information screen. You will find a "Citation" section that will give you either a general citation or one specific to the article you are viewing.

Interestingly, there's a 'Followers of Christ' denomination, so the quote can work several ways.

    Hi Brian,

Interesting question! I assumed it took it from either the Lexham Cultural Ontology Glossary or the Preaching Themes Dataset Documentation, but the definition in your screenshot doesn't match either. So I did an all-search for that phrase, and it doesn't show up anywhere in any resource. You could email data.lco@logos.com, which is the address linked with the Logos Cultural Ontology dataset and ask them for direction.

I would probably cite it as Factbook, s.v. "Church," Logos Bible Software. Bellingham, WA: Faithlife, 2024. Actually, I would probably just find a similar definition from a different source. Everything in the Factbook definitions is going to be common knowledge, so you can restate the information without citing anyone at all.
