Hi, is there a search cheatsheet available anywhere? (for all types of searches) I tried to use one linked by Graham Criddle, who seems to be a superstar at using Logos (I mean that in all sincerity) , but the link was dead (https://wiki.logos.com/Search_HELP). I've watched the videos on searching, but I don't want to have to go rewatch every time I forget. So, is there a cheatsheet for searches that can be downloaded? (Either a .pdf or otherwise.)

I'm on the max subscription if that makes any difference.

It doesn't look cheat-sheet-y, but has lots of examples to copy and then change (easiest way to learn).

In addition to the reference page on the wiki that DMB linked to, bookmark this link to get a listing of articles on various elements of search. These articles are actively being maintained and are a very useful reference when you want some examples on a type of search.

You may already know this, but if not, when using a Precise Search, Logos has several built in templates too. I use them quite a bit.

To see them, click on the hamburger menu in the top left of the search box.

@Nicholas Napier This might be a slight tangent from your question, but over the last few months I crawled through every piece of Logos dataset documentation that I have access to, and built a "how to search datasets" PDF. My goals: inventory the datasets; understand what the datasets do; learn how can I better understand scripture using the datasets' unique search features; and consolidate the key points from dozens of dataset documents into one source. It's not perfect (there are a few datasets that I'm scratching my head over), and it's not definitive for any dataset, but it is working well for me as a jumping off point for using some of Logos' more specialized search capabilities.

If it's useful, I would be happy to put this into Word format so you can adapt it to your needs.

Please explain or give some examples. They automatically convert to the new format and worked when I built tables of them for TIPS

@James Johnson The search argument formats came from the dataset documentation. For example, from the All the Benedictions in the Bible dataset:

You are correct - some searches might produce only a few results, such as the benedictions where Paul refers to peace. In that search, there were only 3 results.

Well done! This is great! Posting the Word file would allow users to create a personal book out of it.
