….Not working.
They all say file not found? … Why ?

Not sure, Jay. Mine seem to be functioning fine. This might merit reaching out to Tech Support.

Something is wrong with your post!
You write the PB's are not working, but give a screen shot of the stored .docx file not found. Two different cases.
I guess your PB's are working.
I guess you have moved the file on the computer to another place, including moved in another folder.
Logos is not Word. If you compile the PB you can delete the .docx file. As now Logos has done a new file in another place. Only if you delete this file it will not working in Logos anymore.
Solution: Just delete the .docx file in Logos. This doesn't delete the file. Only the remembrance of Logos where it has to take to compile it. And via add file select the file again from the place it is now.
Problem solved.

oh? IT was in an external hard drive I no longer have access too so I suppose they are no longer available and I should just delete them? oh that is sad. I had so many books I made that where important.

I made a change years ago that cause a huge disruption to my personal books. This becomes even more apparent if you need to migrate to a new computer. So, now I am very intentional about how I archive and manage the pathway to docx files that I build my personal books on. It was a tough lesson to learn the hard way!

But why would you delete the books in Logos? If you are either still working on the same computer or have uploaded the PBs to the Logos servers when you compiled them, the books should still work. What happens if you click "Open"?

@Donovan R. Palmer In case others don't know this tip, I never compile my .docx files unless I made a change. Moving to a new computer is easy. While I maintain an off-comouter folder of the docx source files, before the move, I copy all the .lbspbb files from my Resources folder to a separate folder I can access on the new computer (network or external disk). Once the new computer is up and Logos/Verbum is installed, do a "Scan <foldername>" of that folder. Done. All the personal books are ready to go. I have 364 PBs, no way I could rebuild them all!

Great tip! My mistake was naive. I thought everything was following me around in the cloud. I knew that PBBs didn't sync to my mobile devices, but I didn't consider the implications beyond that. I don't have as many PBBs as you have, but I am much more careful now in my migration… I'll add your tip to the list.

@Donovan R. Palmer I fixed one mistype, you probably knew what I meant - Scan of that folder, not of that computer….

The upload functionality is outlined in this article

Thank you!
Deleted all the ones I can no longer use, and uploaded the new ones I made today!

Logos should have a "relink" feature, for when locations change. You choose a new parent folder and it will match up file names to its existing names.

Strange, this should not be. Are you or was you on beta? I was once on a Word beta, all files I saved new with this version became corrupt and I was not able to open them ever again. So beware!

That explains why Logos didn't find the file anymore. This is what your image says. The file path Logos knows to compile them again didn't lead to the file anymore.
But it doesn't explain why you was not able to open them anymore. May you are able to find the old compiled files and use them. Except they are corrupt as what happend to me with the Word files. I'm even not sure what happend to the files from Donovan, why he was not able to use them again.

Yeah, I didn't realize it didn't upload the PB to the cloud. I just assumed it would be in the logos system.

I for me, I don't do upload it. This is not necessary.

I think what James describes (PBs being blank) comes from him using a second computer - or a second instance of Logos/Verbum on the same computer - to look at them. Uploading from the Logos instance he built them on will definitely help seeing them on the second instance.

@James Johnson do you have a backup of the old computer where the PBs were available in Logos? If you do - you can restore the Resources folder to a new folder of its own (NOT in the Logos folder/directory tree - like a folder on the desktop, or on an external drive), then you can "Scan" that folder from within Logos, and it will find the PBs and include them in your library! You will be able to open and use the PBs inside Logos, you just won't be able to modify them if you don't have the source docx files. But at least you can use them again!
Assuming you are on Windows, the path to your resources is
\Logos\Data\<some randomId>\ResourceManager\Resources
Once you have it in a folder, say "C:\Temp", then from within Logos, in the command box, type
Scan c:\temp
You should see Logos confirm that command in the dropbox that appears below the command box. That's it - when it finishes scanning it should initiate an index.
Wait for the index icon to disappear and see if they are there!

It's worse than unnecessary, it has real disadvantages: (1) Once uploaded, the file(s) can never be removed and (2) Unless this has changed recently, Logos does NOT encrypt these files in the cloud, even though the cloud services support encryption. So, if your PBs have any sensitive data, then it's potentially exposed. This is true for all data synced to the cloud - like prayer lists for example. I would love to hear these two issues have been rectified.
