Table user document type

It is nice to be able to use tables in Notes. However, Notes is a cramped environment. Tables are very useful to catalog information and there is ton of information that comes out of study that could be saved as tables. This is why I think that tables would be a useful type of new user document. It should work just like other docs. A field at a top to indicate the title. Easy controls to add rows and columns, remove or resize them. Then perhaps a way to demarcate headers rows and columns and reference recognition. Of course, it should be searchable in Docs search and panel search. It could export, print and go to Proclaim.
Why not use Notes instead, you may asked? Because a table user doc would be uncluttered, just a nice and effective way to catalog useful information. In my view, it would be a simple yet powerful new doc type.

Update: I realized after it was too late to edit that I misremembered the Notes capability. It is possible to paste a table image in Notes, not to actually insert a note. This highlights all the more how sorely missing this capability is.

@Jason Stone (Logos) would it be possible to delete this present thread please? No one has voted for it yet. I rewrote it there because the original go at it here turned messy.
