Morph Search for Josephus, Philo, and Apostolic Fathers Greek Text?

Hello,

I am trying to do a morph search in several Greek texts in my library but am coming up with zero results for some of them. For instance, when I run the morph search "lemma.g:ἀγαπάω" I get results from NA28, Logos LXX, and the OT Greek Pseudepigrapha. However, I do not get results when I search the Greek texts of Josephus, Philo, or the Apostolic Fathers. I thought whether the text is morphologically tagged might be the problem but when I search The Works of Flavius Josephus: Greek Text with Morphology I still get zero results.

Do I need to adjust something with my search or are some of these books simply not valid for what I am attempting?

For reference: I have Lake and Lightfoot's Apostolic Fathers in Greek; The Works of Josephus mentioned above along with his Jewish War and Against Apion from the Loeb Library; and Philo's Greek text from Loeb.

I can't quite help you … using the web version and not so easy:

With your search term > BWS:

    • My Josephus results pull from the resource you list (Works Josephus w/Morphology), starting in Antiquities
    • My Philo results pull from a similar work (Works Philo Greek Text w/Morphology), with expected results
    • My Apostolic Fathers results pull (completely) from my Patrologia (not sure why not my AF's (Lexham, Lake, etc)

So, I'm not sure mine or yours! There was another similar thread recently, also odd assignments to the searches.

As per DMB I get results when searching in Josephus

Can you post a screenshot showing your search?

Graham, I believe I found the problem. I had the search set to "chapter" rather than "verse." 🤦‍♂️ I am too used to searching NA28!
