Hello Proclaim Community,

We're thrilled to share that our new feature, Song Library, is now available on Proclaim 4.10! We know how much you rely on Proclaim for preparing worship services, and this update is all about making your life a bit easier.

What’s new?

  • All Your Songs in One Place: No more digging through past presentations or hunting with the search bar. Every song in your catalog is now right at your fingertips.
  • Bulk Editing: Save time by updating multiple songs or arrangements at once, including effortless chord transposing.
  • Smart Integration: When adding songs to your presentations, you can preserve recently used media for a seamless experience.
  • Customizable Columns: Access your song list the way you like it and with the information that matters most to you.

We built the new Song Library with your feedback in mind, try it out and let us know what you think!

I'm not seeing an option to save the media background or font styles along with the song. Did I miss something?

Song Library doesn't have an option to manually save media background or font styles associated to an arrangement. Instead, Proclaim automatically saves the last two different designs you have used for each arrangement, and you can select to reuse one of them when adding the song to your presentation (or you can choose to use your default song item template):

I think this is an interesting new feature but to be truly useful, it will need to have the ability to sort and filter by column.

I'm finding Proclaim crashes pretty consistently whenever I go to the song library and make a change.

I'm sorry you're having this issue. Could you send us your log files for us to investigate?

How would one go about editing the title of the song that is displayed in the "Title" column?

How do I close the Song Library dialog? The back arrow is grayed out, there's no X to close, no "close" button, and pressing Escape does nothing.

Ah, never mind, it was opening with the normal windows top bar off the top of the screen for some reason.

The Proclaim software is great! But yes, we are experiencing the same thing as Wes. The Song Library window opens up with the top bar hidden outside the top of the screen, so you can't move the window or resize it. Perhaps a fix could be made so that the Song Library would open in the center of whatever screen your main interface is on? Or it would automatically open to full screen on top of the main Proclaim interface? Thank you for your help! :-D

(We have a similar problem with Browse Media. Sometimes it opens with part of the window showing on our front of house projector screen.)

@David Vela (Logos) We use Proclaim in an acapella worship and we like having the musical notation on screen, not just the lyrics. Our current system is to upload songs as individual slides but it's still clunky from time to time. Is there any hope for hymnal integration?
