Verse of the Day

A long time ago, I'd get the VOTD emailed to me. I would comment on it and forward that to my wife, who would then comment and send it back. And for a while, that was a pretty cool exchange even though that kind of thing didn't fit into my normal course of study. And for a while, the VOTD would show up on my PC's desktop or something like that.
I think that stuff has all gone away in favor of putting FL media out there in an amorphous collection. That's fine, but is there a way to see a periodic feed of a VOTD where I don't have to go mining for it? My wife and I kind of miss the email exchange.

That would be nice - and a low-key way of publicizing FaithLife.

A feed existed while we were creating new VOTD art (we would post new ones as they created). Now that new art is no longer being created, there is nothing to post on the feed.
It sounds like you might want a way to have a daily feed of the old art. I recommend creating a new suggestion for this idea so that others can vote on it.

That's a real shame. The verse of the day art was a great way to publicize FaithLife, a real service to the Christian community, and comprised one of the more valuable media resources available in Logos.
If this was a cost-cutting measure, I believe it was short-sighted. I would urge FaithLIfe to reconsider.

It's been nearly five years since the last verse of the day art was produced. At this point, the best way to push for this to come back is posted a suggestion as mentioned above.
