BUG: Faulty / incomplete Index for Denzinger

As noted here (thanks, @NB.Mick !),

Dei Verbum is DS 4201 and following, however your screenshot shows the index to be DS 3904. Same for me in my copy of Denzinger's 45th German/Latin edition. The references stop there - which is the same number (and since they are chronologically ordered: the same year) the old 30th edition of Denzinger stops in 1950.

Secondly, the Denzinger is not indexed in a way to be shown a parallel to Vatican II Documents, see here. This is shown also by the resources' info:

Sorry to play the money card, but the Denzinger is quite expensive in Logos/Verbum; I really expected it to work as asked above.

By the way: It is referred to as 'DS' in editions edited by Adolf Schönmetzer from the 32nd edition in 1963 on and as 'DH' for editions edited by Peter Hünermann from the 37th edition in 1991 onwards.

I think the problem lies in the difference of edition in English and German - the German being more recent with additional milestones not included in the English.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Yes of course. But it shouldn't be a problem - the numbers are there and just count up consecutively like a page index. Somebody had the task to put them in and didn't do it.

Have joy in the Lord! Smile

I would word it that likely someone assumed the German and English milestones were identical because they didn't realiize the resource is ongoing in its growth. But it boils down to the same thing - someone didn't do their job in setting up the additional milestones … and perhaps the Logos designers didn't account for this sort of situation.
