Quickly select highlighted text in desktop app?

In the mobile app (iOS and iPadOS) if I tap on highlighted text, the entire highlighted text is selected. I can then easily add a note, modify it, etc.

In the desktop though (mac and windows) double-clicking on the text selects the word I am on and opens it up in the dictionary. Right-clicking selects the entire paragraph in a commentary or verse in a bible.

I have the Subscription version.

In desktop, double-click (and triple-click) settings can be edited in Program Settings.

Been a while … I changed my double to 'search' (usually an odd english word). Good reminder.

Hrm… thanks. Yes, that helps. I didn't even know there was a triple-click setting.

    Unfortunately actions are limited to:
    Lookup
    Search
    Search Inline
    Select Word
    Select Paragraph

Nothing for "Select highlighted text" like Mobile does by default.

    Thanks. Though.

@Ed , I know what you mean. If I want to modify or add notes to an existing highlight, I drag to select part of the highlight and use the 'Edit notes' option in the pop-up menu. It jumps to the Notes tool and filters on the note or notes (if you have multiple highlights) and allows you to edit the note(s). Hope this helps.
