The Paulist Biblical Commentary is a new and generally respected one-volume commentary on the entire bible. I use it often.
I have used the New Bible Commentary for years as my one volume commentary for the whole Bible.

Two Anchor Bible commentaries on prophetical books are newer than the Anchor Yale Bible Commentary bundle that I own: Ezekiel 38–48 and Jonah. The Prophets, 24 vols. bundle only includes the first one. I'd like to know if it will be updated before the Commentary Mini-Bundles Sale ends.

I want to be able to open a new book and not feel like I went to the second hand book store to purchase it. i don't have the time or patience to stop and remove every section of the supposed "new book".
