Is Logos going to develop an app for the Google operating system

Seems like all the iPad competitors are going to go with the Google operating system (Dell has an iPad like device coming out with it for example, there are other rumors about this), so does Logos think it is worth the effort to develop an app for that operating system?  Just curious.

Chrome uses Cloud based apps. L4 is already developing one here: http://library.logos.com/?=beta

Thanks for responding, I have given up on any feedback in this area, at least until an iPad competitor came out with something running the Google operating system.

The iPhone and iPad have apps for their operating system, and the new google phones do not work in the cloud, they have apps that run on the google operating system.

The question still is, is Logos going to develop an app for the google operation system?

Ok, you mean android. The Google operating system is chrome OS and it does not run on phones but netbooks or tablets and runs apps in the cloud. Google phones run android and there are a number of companies preparing to manufacture android based tablets. Logos recently did a survey about mobile apps and I believe that there is some talk of an android app being developed.

If you mean Chrome OS, I doubt it.

If you mean Android, then I don't know.

The point is they are not saying, which is why you haven't gotten a reply to this answer directly. Also saying the Google Operating System, there are two OSes that Google is working on as others have said. So even though the answer is the same for both (they aren't saying yet) you may wish to specify which one you are talking about. If I were a betting man and someone said bet on which comes first a Chrome OS or Android version of Logos, I'd bet on Android.

It would be really nice if we could get some response on this from Logos regarding Android.  I'm  a Verizon customer and would like to remain one, but knowing that Logos is going to work on an Android app would make me feel much better about buying an Incredible.

I agree, it would be nice to hear of Bob and crew are considering running Logos on ANDROID.

I guess it's a given that a bunch of people who are constantly taking apart words to do study, would take apart my original question and make sure I knew that I did not explain it correctly.  I guess it does not matter that I was talking about ipad competitors so it was obvious it was the andriod operating system..........  Maybe we just needed to apply a little common sense to it, or maybe I need to do a full word and topic study on each of my sentences before posting.  [:)]

Here is what Bob has said publicly on the forum regarding the Android:

    Nov 25, 2009:

We don't have plans for a dedicated Android app yet, but you can visit http://library.logos.com in any mobile phone browser to get similar functionality.
