Export highlights with citation, page number, and color identified

I believe there are many who, like me, use Logos as part of their academic workflow. One very simple (I hope) and powerful way to significantly enhance research workflows would be to include the citation, page number, and highlight color when using the print/export feature for highlights from a book or article.

Then, when someone wants to export all the highlights they've made in a particular book, they wouldn't have to look them all up. This would be a game changer for those who rely on Logos for research and publishing.

Thanks very much in advance for your consideration.

Should be possible if you are envisaging print/export from the Notes tool?

    Dave, when I

#1 - go select a number of my highlights at present, and

    # 2 - choose to print/export

You'll note that there are no citation references accompanying them, which really limits the use case/value for further use.

If I go look at any given highlight reference, I can see there is an "anchor" that carries the necessary metadata for a citation

So, it seems to me that with a little bit of code-tweaking, it should be a straightforward proposition to associate that metadata with the selected note text, along the lines of what some other platforms provide (such as Kindle). This would super-charge Logos' use case as the go-to platform (in my humble opinion) for scholarly biblical studies endeavors. It is already phenomenal in many ways, but this would be a quick fix that would scratch a lot of itches of requests for things in the "export" and "fix" notes space, because it will allow for a more standard scholarly workflow.

Let me know if that makes sense, and thanks, as always for your responsive and thoughtful interactions!

I wasn't disagreeing. I was checking that your export request was for the Notes tool (as opposed to the book itself).

Yes - very sorry if I didn't make that clear. You are 100% correct on what I'm looking for.
