Our difference is theological/interpretative - on whether or not the Biblical support is or is not sound interpretation AND if, when sound, is it sufficient for the doctrine it claims to support. Both of these require theological discussion. My statement carefully did not. Rather, it stated an axiom, nearly tautological, that every Catholic doctrine must have a Biblical basis. As I have been working recently on creeds of Sabbatarian, non-trinitarian Christian denominations, I am acutely aware that Biblical support offered is not the same as Biblical support accepted. But I acknowledge that the Sabbatarian, non-trinitarian Christians have studied and interpreted Scripture in good faith as have all who hold the diverse views that constitute Christianity.
Let me explain myself given some of the responses to my response. The way you worded your heading implied that you already knew Catholics were wrong; to have a discussion you must be willing to listen as well as respond rather than knowing all the answers already. I was warning you that a well-informed Catholic will provide scriptural support for their beliefs - implicit or explicit - with the exception of the canon of scripture. It is difficult, in fact many writers of apologetics don't even try, to get to the actual source of differences to have a serious discussion. I chose to give you a mild warning rather than react to what could be interpreted as disrespect because you are brand new to the forums and I truly hope you stay in the forums asking about software and resources.
