Maybe someone can explain to me why this can't be done but I would sure like to see it.

Today I decided I would look for where in the bible it says

well done thou good and faithful servant.

Goto Search Select Bible tab, enter the phrase no results.

Google provided answer in seconds. Multiple pages even.

Google is free.

Logos has cost me several thousands of dollars!

Why can't it it be that simple? Or is it and I am that stupid? :)

If you put the phrase in quotation marks, you are requesting an exact match. I was uncertain what translation might have something close to that wording so I left off the quotes and got hits. If I had not gotten hits, I would have switched to a precise-fuzzy search which is closer to what Google does.

Does the AI search require an internet connection? i have downloaded all my resources and was using AI search BUT my internet was down (I didn't know this at the time) because Google search worked even though i had to wait for it to go through. BUT my internet is ethernet connected and wifi connected. The ethernet connection kept dropping and it wasn't automatically switching to wifi. I think MAYBE the Logos search needed internet and didn't work because of my intermittency issue.

short answer - yes

But no, for non-AI without internet, a Bible search on the phrase without quotes brought up the verse, in several translations. Putting in quotes reduces the number, due to implied 'thou'.
