I just received 1 & 2 Kings: Evangelical Exegetical Commentary (EEC) on prepub - $99.99 plus tax! Yep that ws the prepub price! It gets worse - I look online now, and the price is $94.99 for me. Not logged in, the price is $99.99.

Why so expensive a prepub? Shame on me not looking more closely when I bought it.
Why no prepub discount?
Why could I purchase it now CHEAPER than on prepub?

Here's another buyer beware, likely an error. It says 1 & 2 Kings are included together in the Historical Books bundle:

I suspect your current price reflects your 5% discount as a subscriber.

You can always return said book and get it later if it goes on sale. I am sorry to hear about your experience.

Time to get a sale on New Interpreter’s Dictionary of the Bible (5 vols)!
As far as I know it has never been on sale. Its main competitor, Anchor Bible Dictionary is cheaper and even included in libraries. Meanwhile NIDB remains very expensive and unaffordable. I wonder how well it actually sells. Time to approach Abingdon to negotiate a deal on this title?
