Is there an official announcement for the discount about to end? Does it affect all base package owners? Can I renew my subscription now in order to lock the discount for the next two years?
Hi there, great question @Jan Krohn. Do you own Logos 9 or earlier, and you haven’t subscribed yet? If so, you may have seen communications starting in May about ending the ownership discount on subscriptions. Subscribe by July 31 to make sure you get the best price. Do you own Logos 10 and haven’t subscribed yet? For Logos 10 owners, nothing is changing at this time. We’ll let you know in advance before making any changes to your subscription ownership discount. Note: If you own Logos 9 or earlier and subscribe while your ownership discount is being offered, remaining subscribed is how to keep your best pricing. Since the ownership discount ends on July 31, if you cancel and resubscribe later, it will be at the regular price. Hope that's helpful!
Taken from the FAQ page: "There is no Dynamic Pricing on subscriptions, however, we wanted to honor those loyal to Logos and keep to the spirit of Dynamic Pricing. This means all customers who own a base package will receive special pricing on our new subscriptions. Logos 10 owners will receive the best subscription prices based on their feature set. Customers who own any base package (regardless of version or level) will also receive a slightly smaller discount. If you cancel your subscription, you will still be eligible for your discount should you return to the subscription again."
It was stated in the forums a year ago that base package owners will likely remain on the discounted subscription path:
Good bird-dogging!
Thanks Mary!
Thank you!
I would like to quote from psalms such as Psalm 142 and many others, but there are different verse numberings. When I insert a link to Psalm 142:4, for example, I see Psalm 142:5 when I hover over it with the mouse. But Logos also recognizes these different numberings and quotes verse 5 with Psalm 142:4 in parentheses. How…
I would like to view the synoptic gospels with verses highlighted in different colors. I do not need a lot of complexity, and only need to compare any two gospels at a time. For example: read the gospel of Matthew with all verses which are considered "double tradition" or "triple tradition" highlighted. Or alternatively,…
After years of owning Logos, I am finally getting around to making my highlights and markups meaningful. I’m really bummed that you can’t edit the default Logos highlights a little more granularly, but I can work with creating custom palettes. I was able to create a yellow highlight that works, but when trying to create a…
I have an Windows 10, i7-6700 @ 3.4Ghz with 32 GB RAM, and Logos installed on an SSD (ver 45.1.2). I have 250 Mbps download and 36 Mbps upload internet performance. Yet I'm having significant Logos latency. Sometimes the app just hangs. I notice it when I'm typing in Sermon Editor and the words are noticeably slower than…
I'm doing a deep dive study book-by-book, and De 3:24 quoting Ex 15:11 got me thinking. I know more OT verses are quoting earlier OT verses on the Commandments, rituals, and events (The Psalms, Judges, and prophets obviously come to mind). It would be nice to find a reference so I can annotate them, but I've searched Logos…
