every week. Is there a way to create a template of sorts that would start (and end) with those? Or do I manually have to add them back in each week?
I don't believe there is a mechanism to make a template.
What we do is we start each week's services from the previous one (or an earlier one of the same format) and that way the pre / post service loops come across.
Oh I see, So you duplicate a service arrangement that works, then rename it.
Yes - that's correct.
We tend to have a convention that gives us a service name of something like YY-MM-DD-Morning Service (so we can see which we used on any particular date).
When we come to start putting together the arrangement for the coming weekend, we will duplicate the previous one (or a previous appropriate one), rename it and start from there.
then just save it under a new name? or is there always only just the one service in proclaim?
the re-use item interface is kind of annoying and doesn't feel complete. I should be able to import a full weeks pre-service loop or post service loop if I want. Or at least multiple slides at once. Seems like I can only do them one at a time through that mechanism. I'll give your suggestion a go graham. Thanks.
Oh I see, So you duplicate a service arrangement that works, then rename it. Yeah that will be ok. Up until now, we have been re-using the same weeks service week in and week out, only changing the songs, and if there are slides for the sermon.
I run a series of slides during our prayer time. We want the slides to run for 6 min then advance to the corporate prayer time slide BUT I don't want the congregation to see a countdown timer on their screen. I want my tech crew to see the timer so that they can advance the slides to the final corporate slide but no one…
Have used Proclaim on Mac for a while, but for looking too long today, can not find how to get the place to manually enter x and y or w and h for an object on a slide. Or, how to angle the content on a slide. Who can help relieve my brain block?
How do I upload a Canva presentation to the church proclaim program? Can it be uploaded directly from Canva, or should it be downloaded as a PDF, or Powerpoint, or a different format? Currently when I downloaded it as a pdf it is grayed out and not a live uploadable link
I cannot find a way to distinguish between a rehearsal and service when going on air. As we do a full run through with Orchestra every Sunday, and sometimes a partial run through with choir on Wednesdays, or count of hymn use is greatly inflated. Has anyone found a work around for this???
I'm creating a new song for the first time. I've added in all the song details, Title, author etc…, then saved it to my library. I've typed in the lyrics how do I connect a set of lyrics to a specific verse 1, verse 2, etc…? If I uncheck the box next to where I can add Title, screen and all that my lyrics will show, but if…
