No Dave I was reading the requirements listed for MacOS. Look at miy link. Both the tabs for windows and macOS showed DirectX11 at the time I posted this question. Someone at FL has changed the requirements since my post here.

I did use your link, but my answer did not convey that the DirectX link was absent from MacOS.
